Created A Publishing Department
CHALLENGE:
To design, create, and staff a copy writing and publications department, where no department previously existed. Once established, to manage the department.
RESULT
Hired as a veteran writer and publisher, I put together a business plan to create a central authoring and publishing department. The plan was blessed by CEO, and I built the department, hiring the staff and successfully running the show for four years.
Among the department’s many accomplishment, it standardized authoring and publication styles, increased the quality of company publications, enhanced product marketing, eliminated duplication of effort across the company, while instituting a convenient one-stop shopping source for company publications.
